This report examines the interconnection of the fashion and food industries through the lens of sustainability. Fashion being both a process and a material object means it has a direct link to the environment, similarly to food which uses natural resources. This essay explores the complex interconnection between these two industries through various definitions and perspectives. It follows an account of current trends in fashion PR, local initiatives in Norfolk, UK, and analyzes the possibilities and limitations of various approaches to creating a sustainable future in fashion and food. Research is based on current projects, brands, and programs which all are evaluated in terms of their capacity for future sustainability and consumer limitations.
